Indian Peaks Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on Flag Day, June 14, 2015, the same year as the quasquicentennial (125th) celebration of the founding of our National Society. Our members range in age from 18 to 85 years old and are college students, stay-at-home moms, young women starting their careers and families, women well into their careers, and retirees.
We are a patriotic, non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting the National Society’s objectives of patriotism, education, historic preservation, and service to our community.
With more than 125 years of tradition, over 1,000,000 members admitted since its founding, a vast array of service work, and countless activities in our communities, the DAR has much to offer.
We invite you to explore whether becoming a Daughter of the American Revolution is right for you! We welcome any woman, 18 years or older, who can prove her lineal descent from an individual who helped achieve American independence. Interested women are encouraged to attend a chapter meeting to learn more about us and all we do. We have volunteer genealogists ready to assist you with your research and the application process!
